In its normal state, the dagger does the 1d4 piercing damage, but when flaming it does an additional 1d4 magical fire damage.

Other abilities:

• When commanded to flame, it creates - at the command of the wielder - an amount of light up to an amount that can illuminate an area up to 30' radius.
