Overview

The Lamp of Al-Arakh is a golden vessel from the Sixth Age that serves as the resting place of a Djinn.

Appearance

The lamp is an intricate, golden oil lamp.

History and Origin

During the Sixth Age, this lamp served as the home of a Djinn. It was lost or discarded at the beginning of the Seventh Age because it no longer worked. When the separation between the Elemental Plane of Air and that of the Plane of the World grew to great, it became too difficult for a conduit to be maintained. 

Usage and Effects

  • Automatically lights when the owner wishes it to do so. Shines a light with radius 30', never runs out of oil. 
  • Rubbing the lamp will cause the Djinn to emerge from the lamp. 

The Djinn can only be summoned from the lamp if the owner is attuned to it.
