Details
Initial Encounter
Percy du Ramshead was first encountered while leading a caravan moving three wagons from Highbridge to Stoneford. The caravan was captured and sacked by the party after they were inserted into the guard party by Martin Shimlock. One wagon full of weapons was given to The Resistance. The other wagons were burned and destroyed. Percy unsuccessfully scoured the trade road for the net few days looking for the perpetrators.
Bridge Destruction and Aftermath
When the looted crate was being returned by the party after being recovered from the Red Claw Tribe orcs in Copedell Manor, Percy was seen in the receiving party in the castle on Baron's Isle. Tensions were running high due to the destruction of the wooden bridge connecting Baron's isle to the Baron's Grounds that occurred during the delivery. Although Percy appeared to recognize the party, he did not take any definitive actions.
However, it turned out that Percy was assigned the task of collecting a Bridge Tax in Overtown, a tax intended to force The Riding folk to pay for reconstruction of the bridge that was ostensibly destroyed by The Resistance. Folk in Overtown refused, led by Grenn the Bartender of The Rusty Spigot. Percy responded by having Southern Mercantile Company guards kick in the door to the Rusty Spigot, seize Grenn, and hang him and a few other ringleaders on a hastily constructed gallows in the Overtown Main Square.
Falling Out of Favor
After his name was repeatedly connected to the successful raid on Highbridge Prison, his home was searched and additional, incriminating evidence was discovered indicating his potential involvement. An official investigation was launched and remnants of the order issued by Adelaide du Eagleroost were obtained by The Knot and are presented below.
By order of Adelaide du Eagleroost, Governor ofHighbridge and Auxiliary Member of the Winged Council of thePolonian Legions, faithful servant of our Dread Tyrant, the Dark Lady Tiamat:
Percy du Ramshead has been found not guilty on all charges directly related to the raid on Highbridge Prison. However, it is noted that the evidence suggests that the only way the Prison could possibly have been breached would be if its security was compromised due to his careless actions, irresponsible behavior and general incompetence. The punishment for such negligence - especially in a case such as this where important facilities were breached - is death.
However, due to a life's worth of faithful service, Percy du Ramshead is instead to be granted mercy. Although he will be stripped of position and wealth, he is given command of the Polonian outpost at the edge of the chasm of Shadowcrag, north of the Green River. Dangers abound and many faithful servants of the Empire - including the previous commander - have quickly and regrettably fallen in the line of duty. Our hope is that Percy du Ramshead can use this opportunity to gain a brave and honorable death in order to regain his dignity, prove his value and loyalty to the Empire, and perform one final service for our Dragon Queen.
Escape to the Unknown
In the aftermath of the party's raid on the tower at Kithkaira and the discovery of the dead body of Galathi amidst the aftermath of the spell he cast from Spellbook of the Celestial Spheres, Percy escaped through the rent in the planar fabric used by /wiki/spaces/CAM/pages/371752989 to collect a stone lantern from the tower. The rent appeared to lead to a dark and sinister overgrown forest.
