A river running east to west through The Riding, sourced in the Badcrag Mountains and emptying in the Forearc Basin. As it travels through The Riding, it is typically a mile wide and twenty feet deep.

The Green River is the lifeblood of The Riding, irrigating the farm lands, home to bountiful fishing grounds, and serving as the primary method of transporting huge quantity of grain to the ports in Greenmouth.

It has a handful of major tributaries, including the Caterwaul Run.
