North of the Green River, the Black Forest is an unexplored area of dense forest, and serves as the source of myths and terrors from beyond the realm of civilization. |
Amongst other things, the forest appears to be particularly filled with cats of all sorts, including pumas and Displacer Beasts. At nighttime, feline growls and screeches fill the air.
