History
Lathander was the head of the ancient pantheon of Elvish gods. Some histories claim that he perished and was resurrected as Amaunator, who is worshiped in The Riding as the Sun God. Others believe differently.
Few inhabitants of the world are even aware of the existence of Lathander or any Elvish pantheon.
/wiki/spaces/CAM/pages/73728036 contains the only remnants of the worshipers of Lathander in his original form and the Order - intentionally - is barely known and largely anonymous, but few know of him, and for those that do, little is known about him.
Updates
Recently, The Hate Incarnate has captured Highbridge and instituted a particularly harsh and brutal theocracy based upon their worship of Lathander. Their view of Lathander seems at odds with other viewpoints.
The temple in Castle Rend also contains a temple to Lathander.
